Cottage cheese with fruit is perfect pre-workout fuel. The cottage cheese is high in protein and will keep you full, and the fruit is a healthy carb to give you energy to power through your workout. Eat 1 serving of nonfat or low fat cottage cheese, slice up a banana, some berries, and/or a peach, and you're good to go. Feel free to add 1/4 cup of chopped almond for some heart-healthy fats.
